Volcano Bay is the waterpark located in Universal Orlando.
The waterpark reopened with the other two theme parks at Universal back in June. Then, Volcano Bay closed for an extended seasonal closure on November 2nd, 2020. We were told that the waterpark would reopen on or before March 1st, 2021. Universal has announced the official reopening date for Volcano Bay!
Volcano Bay will reopen with enhanced safety regulations on Saturday, February 27th, 2021. The protocols include temperature checks, limited capacities at the park and on the attractions, social distancing, and face coverings inside restaurants and gift shops. Face masks are not permitted on slides and in pools.
Tickets for Volcano Bay are now on sale for dates on and after February 27th. Annual Passes and vacation packages including the waterpark can also be purchased at this time.
