NEWS: Keke Palmer Will Host a Disney Cooking Show Coming Soon!

Disney+ is premiering an all-new cooking competition later this year!

The streaming service has added all sorts of new content this year including the Marvel series WandaVision and upcoming Star Wars features. Now, Foodtastic will premiere later this year and Keke Palmer is confirmed to host and produce the new competitive cooking show!

Keke Palmer is the host of ABC’s GMA3: Strahan, Sarah, and Keke. She will also voice a new character of The Proud Family reboot. Along with Palmer, the judges of the show will include NYC’s City Cakes founder Chef Benny Rivera and FLOUR SHOP founder Amirah Kassem.

The cooking show will be less about taste and more about presentation. Each self-contained episode will feature three teams of food artists who are “challenged to create whimsical, larger-than-life, Disney-inspired works of art made out of all types of food—including everything from cheese and butter to fruits and vegetables.”

The teams will conceptualize iconic Disney characters and transform them into food sculptures. Plus, any unused food from each competition will be donated to local food banks.
