One of the biggest changes has been the continued closure of many of Disney World’s entertainment offerings. However, it looks like one of the most beloved stage shows will be returning in the coming months!

Disney has announced that Festival of the Lion King will return this summer to the Harambe Theatre at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Disney shared that when the show opens, it will be modified from its original format to comply with physical distancing guidelines. This will mean new choreography and staging that will allow for safe distancing amongst the performers, as well as physically distanced seating configurations for the audience.

  2. hope it will be happening by the beginning of Jun e..
This is awesome… just limit the people for distancing and have more shows with only allowing people in 1 time a day!!

  3. This is easily the best news I’ve seen all week! I only hope it’s open by September. I really want to see it one more time!
