Disney’s Investor Day has been FULL of amazing entertainment news! We already heard about the new Star Wars film Rogue Squadron, and the two Mandalorian spin-off series coming, and now we’ve got some incredible updates on the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series and the new Andor show!
OBI-WAN KENOBI
We had already heard that Ewan McGregor would be coming back in a new Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+, but today we found out that Ewan McGregor won’t be the only big Star Wars star coming back for the series. YES. That’s right — Hayden Christensen himself will be returning in the series, officially titled OBI-WAN KENOBI, as Darth Vader!
The series is set to take place 10 years after Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, and is directed by Deborah Chow, who also helmed some episodes of The Mandalorian. During this series, Obi-Wan and Vader are set to fight again. Check out the short video that was shared today by Star Wars.

We are so ready!
Andor
During today’s conference we got to hear about the new Rouge One series coming to Disney+. The series officially has a name — Andor! The show is described as a spy thriller. Check out the special clip shared today about this new series.

Diego Luna will be back in this series as Cassian Andor, and production on the show started recently (although it had previously been delayed). The 12-episode series will debut in 2022.
The cast is set to include Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma. Some episodes are set to be directed by ‘Black Mirror’ director Toby Haynes.
Both OBI-WAN KENOBI and Andor will be steaming on Disney+. We cannot wait to hear more about these shows in the future! Stay tuned for all the latest updates.
