Disney’s virtual Investors Day event is off to a great start!
We knew to expect a lot of Disney+ related announcements today, and right off the bat, Bob Chapek shared that they’ve had an incredible number of subscribers. However, there’s so much more to unpack, because there are about to be a TON of new shows on the streaming platform for us to binge!
During his section of the presentation Kareem Daniel, the Chairman of Media and Entertainment Distribution for The Walt Disney Company, shared that there will be new content to stream on Disney+ every week, as streaming has become the preferred method of media consumption.
As part of this content, there will be 10 new Marvel series, 10 new Star Wars series, 15 new live-action/animated/Pixar series, and 15 new live-action/animated/Pixar films over the next few years
