Breaking News! Two All-New Mandalorian Spin-off Original Series are Coming to Disney+!

Today is the Walt Disney Company’s Investor Day, which means TONS of entertainment news is being shared!

Kathleen Kennedy, the President of LucasFilm, took to the (virtual stage) to share updates on the overwhelming success of The Mandalorian, as well as make an exciting announcement:

TWO all-new Star Wars shows are headed to Disney+!

The first, Rangers of the New Republic, takes place within the same timeline as the Mandalorian.

The second show also takes place within the same timeline, and is called Ahsoka. The show stars Rosario Dawson in the title role.

These shows are coming from the minds of John Favreau and Dave Filoni, and will culminate in a “climactic story event.” The next chapter premieres Christmas 2021.

We will share more details as we get them on these new Star Wars shows!
