We got a good look at the tracks for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coming to EPCOT next year. We also got a projected opening date for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and an overview of Disney’s future as a company. Another major project in the works is the new Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort where a new Spider-Man ride will open. D’Amaro gave everyone a first look at the ride vehicles and how they will be manipulated inside the attraction!

D’Amaro states that the new land will allow guests to team up the Avengers and their allies in a fully immersive land. The Quinjet structure has already been installed and the land will house the new attraction Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.

The Spider-Man attraction will be a 3D ride that allows guests to sling webs with arm gestures. The ride vehicle will react to your gestures and respond with movement. The vehicles are enclosed pods that allow you to become fully immersed in the experience.

According to D’Amaro, “guests will be able to board these vehicles and help Spider-Man take control of an army of Spider-Bots that have taken over the Avengers Campus.”

He continues with, “you may just catch a glimpse of Spider-Man flying through the sky.” The video released by Disney shows a 3D Spider-Man tumbling across the screen. to give a glimpse of the images that will be used on the attraction. It looks as if Spider-Man is spinning webs right above your head!

The Avengers Campus and Spider-Man ride will also be opening in Disneyland Paris. D’Amaro gave a glimpse into Disney’s Hotel New York – the Art of Marvel that will also open in Paris too.
