We cannot wait to step into Disney California Adventure to shop and dine on Buena Vista Street as an “extension” of Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort.

Thankfully, we only have to wait a few days longer for that! But, we can’t forget that there are LOTS of fantastic spots to shop and dine all throughout Downtown Disney. And now, many of these spots are getting into the holiday spirit. Here’s your guide to all the special holiday offerings at Disneyland Resort!
Thanksgiving
Let’s start with some Thanksgiving treats!
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes
At Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, guests can enjoy a Thanksgiving burger for a limited time. Last year this burger featured brie, applewood-smoked bacon, corn, cranberry orange aioli, and sage potato roll stuffing.

Salt & Straw
Like to balance salty and sweet? Then you can head over to Salt & Straw to grab a scoop of Salted Thanksgiving Turkey or Sweet Potato Casserole with maple pecans.

Earl of Sandwich
At Earl of Sandwich, you can get their Holiday Turkey Sandwich year round, but it tastes extra special during the holidays! This sandwich features turkey, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and mayonnaise on freshly-baked artisan bread.

Holiday Eats and Sweets!
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes
Black Tap is back at it again, but this time with a more wintry flavor! Those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth can head over to this spot for their Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake CrazyShake (a returning item from last year).

California Churro
If churros are more your thing, head over to California Churro for a White Christmas Churro. YUM.
Kayla’s Cake
At Kayla’s Cake, you’ll be able to grab a SUPER cute snowman macaron! We just love his little rosy cheeks!

Wetzel’s Pretzels
Love a good pretzel? You can stop by Wetzel’s Pretzels during the holiday season to grab a holiday pretzel, which Disney describes as a colorful rainbow with a crunch!
Marceline’s Confectionary and Trolley Treats
At both Marceline’s Confectionary and Trolley Treats you can get festive caramel apples and peppermint marshmallow wands. How cute do those look?!

Sprinkles
In the mood for a cupcake? Be sure to stop by Sprinkles to check out all of their unique flavors. A box of cupcakes could also make a delicious gift. Just make sure you don’t eat them all yourself on the way home!

Carthay Circle Restaurant
As part of the reopening of Buena Vista Street, Carthay Circle Restaurant will be introducing Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining, a new outdoor dining experience that will feature flavorful Mediterranean-California fare and terrific views of Buena Vista Street.

Disney has specifically said that, at this time, the restaurant will use a mobile waitlist system throughout the day to manage the number of guests dining when the location is at capacity. So that’s definitely something to keep in mind if you’re hoping to grab a table there.

La Brea Bakery
Looking for a holiday drink? You’ll be able to stop by La Brea Bakery Cafe to grab some of their festive drinks including the Merry Manhattan, the Tinsel-Tini, a Mistletoe Margarita, the Joyful Daiquiri, or a Jolly Old Fashioned, which you could then pair with an entree or sandwich.

Shopping
Disney Merchandise
If you’re looking for a holiday spirit jersey, a personal snoap machine(!), or some other awesome Disney holiday merchandise, you can stop by quite a few stores in Downtown Disney including World of Disney, Elias & Co. or Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop.

You’ll find even more amazing merchandise over at The Disney Dress Shop, Disney Home, and Julius Katz & Sons. Whether you’re looking for decor for your house, a gift for your friend, or just ALL the holiday things for yourself, these stores offer “the ultimate in Disney shopping for toys, apparel, souvenirs, home décor and holiday collections.”

Rinse Bath & Body Co.
Rinse Bath & Body Co. (which opened in Disneyland last year) is another spot where you can find some great gifts for the holiday season. You can get Spiced Cranberry handcrafted soaps and lotion sticks, that give off the scent of mulled spices, and are made with ingredients that are soothing to winter skin. Or, you can check out some of their many other scents!

Pandora
At Pandora, you’ll be able to find all kinds of charms and bracelets, including some limited-edition gift sets for the holidays like the three themed Cinderella charms with magical motifs, celebrating the 70thanniversary of Walt Disney’s animated classic.

More!
There are also lots of other spots to check out in Downtown Disney including California Sole, Curl Surf, Sunglass Icon, Sephora, Sugar & Co. andThe LEGO Store where you can search for gifts for everyone on your list!
Toys for Tots
While you’re out shopping, you can also give back to others. Right now through December 13th, 2020, if you donate a toy online at shopDisney, or donate a new, unwrapped toy to any Disney Store or World of Disney store in the United States, Disney will donate an additional $1 to Toys for Tots.

You can check out more about how you can give back here!
Health & Safety
If this will be your first time back at Downtown Disney since the park closures or just your first time back for a while, be sure to read up on ALL of Disneyland’s latest health and safety requirements and measures such as temperature checks and face masks.

Waitlist
Additionally, keep in mind that Disney is limiting guest capacity at Downtown Disney District and its shopping and dining locations to promote physical distancing. At some points, stores like the World of Disney store, Marceline’s Confectionery, Buena Vista Street and Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining at Carthay Circle Restaurant, may utilize a mobile waitlist system to help Disney manage the number of guests when the location and/or queue are at capacity.

If a mobile waitlist is being utilized, you can choose to provide your name and mobile number to receive a text message when you are able to return to that spot for shopping or dining.
Also, keep in mind that Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park are currently closed. All reservations at Disneyland Resort hotels have also been canceled through the end of the year, but the Disney Vacation Club villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel are set to reopen soon.

We’ll definitely be visiting Downtown Disney soon as we’ll let you know of any other updates we spot! In the meantime, happy eating and shopping!
