Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have implemented new health and safety measures for guests visiting either property.

These protocols are encouraged with signs, overhead messages, and designated health and safety Cast Members. The guidelines have adapted slightly over the months and Disney has increased the number of reminders around the theme parks.

While visiting Downtown Disney, we noticed an entirely new way Disney is encouraging proper safety etiquette. The digital signs on the ticket booths now reflect Disney’s health guidelines. The sign reads the required protocols like wearing a face covering as well as suggested reminders like avoid touching your face or cover your mouth when coughing. There was also a COVID-19 disclaimer sign that loops through.

Between the health reminders are generic ads for Downtown Disney and other businesses inside the shopping and dining area.

Disneyland has yet to reopen, but we’ve noticed quite a few updates to the surrounding area lately. New signs have been installed and a potential walkway entrance was indicated. We will continue to make our way to Downtown Disney to check out more signs of life around Disneyland!
