NEWS: We Have a DATE for Buena Vista Street's Reopening at Disney California Adventure!

Recently, we shared the news that the Buena Vista Street portion of Disney California Adventure would be reopening as an extension of Downtown Disney. At the time, Disney said that this extension would begin in November.

We can now share the exact date when Buena Vista Street will reopen!

Disney California Adventure will welcome guests back to Buena Vista Street as an extension of Downtown Disney beginning on November 19th, 2020. Keep in mind that this is the only portion of Disney California Adventure that will be accessible to guests, and the rest of the park remains closed at this time.

When Buena Vista Street reopens, available shops will include Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, Kingswell Camera Shop and Trolley Treats.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat, you can stop by the new Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining, which will give guests the opportunity to enjoy items from Carthay Circle in a new outdoor environment. Guests can also eat at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, Award Wieners, and Smokejumpers Grill.

It is important to note that beginning on November 19th, Downtown Disney will be imposing a $10 parking fee per car in the Simba Lot. Disney has also hinted that they may use a mobile wait list system for guests wishing to access Buena Vista Street to promote safe physical distancing.
