From character cavalcades to all of the delicious snacks, there’s so much to do, eat, and see at Disney World during the holiday season!
If you’re thinking of visiting a Disney World theme park, however, you now need a Park Pass reservation for the park you want to visit, in addition to valid park admission. We’ve seen Park Passes fill up quite a bit in the past, especially for big holidays, and now things are really starting to fill up for Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
Christmas
For Christmas day, things for Theme Park Tickets Guests and Disney Resort Guests have not changed since our last update. Both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom remain fully booked for Theme Park Tickets Guests and Disney Resort Guests on December 25th. There is still availability, however, at the remaining two parks for those guests at the moment.
Annual Passholders, however, now have less availability than they did before. Previously, Annual Passholders had full availability at all 4 parks on December 25th, but now Park Pass reservations have filled up for Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day for Annual Passholders.
Park Pass reservations still appear to be available at the other 3 parks, however, for Annual Passholders on Christmas Day.
New Year’s Eve
Moving on to New Year’s Eve, Annual Passholders still have full availability to make a Park Pass reservation at any of the 4 parks for now. Things are really starting to fill up for other guests, however.
Previously, Park Pass reservations for both Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom were full for Theme Park Tickets Guests and Disney Resort Guests for December 31st. Now, Park Passes for EPCOT are also unavailable for Theme Park Tickets Guests…
…and Disney Resort Guests.
So, if you’re a Disney Resort Guest or Theme Park Tickets Guest and you’re looking to spend New Year’s Eve in a Disney Park, the only one available for you to make a Park Pass for right now is Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We’ve seen Park Pass availability change quite a bit in the past though, so all of this is subject to change. We’ll keep checking the Disney Park Pass availability calendar and let you know if we see any major changes. If you’ve got a Disney vacation scheduled in the near future, be sure to book your Park Passes as soon as you are able. You can try to change them in the future if need be, but it’s best to at least have something booked!
