Go on a Free Disney Villains Halloween Scavenger Hunt at This Disney World Hotel!

There are SO many Halloween things to do around Disney World!

You can eat tons of Halloween snacks, watch the spooktacular character cavalcades, and, of course, buy all the Halloween merchandise. But, if you’re looking for a NEW Halloween activity to do around Disney World, we’ve found just the thing (and you don’t even have to be in the parks)!

As we made our way around Disney’s Wilderness Lodge recently, we spotted something new — a Halloween Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt! It seems “13 of Disney’s most mischievous villains have taken over Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and are trying to trick you by hiding on pumpkins” around the Resort.

We’ve seen a Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt here in the past, but it was fun to see a a new version of this with a Halloween twist. What you’ll want to do to participate in the fun is ask a kind Cast Member at the front desk for the Halloween Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt paper, which has all kinds of clues on it that will lead you to the pumpkins around the hotel. You can write down the name of the villains described by the clues and the locations where you found their themed pumpkins. You can then return your completed clue guide to a Cast Member at the hotel for a treat! And the best part, it’s all free!

Here’s a closer look at some of the clues. Can you guess what villains they’re describing?

We found a few pumpkins ourselves around the hotel including the King Candy pumpkin…

…and the Jafar pumpkin. Spooktacular!

We loved this activity! It really was a great way to get that touch of magic and Halloween fun without having to actually be in the theme parks. Plus, it can help you explore parts of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge that you may never have taken the time to see before. We’ll keep an eye out for more Halloween activities around Disney World, and we’ll let you know what we find!
