Even though Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is about a 90-minute drive from Walt Disney World, it is still an important part of the Disney family.
This resort was actually Disney’s first Disney Vacation Club resort not attached to Walt Disney World! They officially opened on October 1st, 1995 making it their 25th anniversary this year!
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is along Florida’s east coast and truly feels like an oasis. The resort design got inspiration from treasure ships, orange farming, and sea turtle conservation. They offer various experiences to see the turtles and learn about how they protect them.
Vero Beach is an important part of many family’s vacations. We’re so happy that they are celebrating 25 years!
