New ForceFest Online Star Wars Convention Has Been Announced!

Star Wars Celebration has been a tradition for many fans since 1999. A celebration of all things Star Wars, full of panels, screenings, and tons of Star Wars merchandise.

Unfortunately this fan convention was cancelled for 2020, but some devoted fans won’t let that stop them. A new virtual convention started by a group of fans and podcasters has been announced.

ForceFest may not be officially associated with Star Wars or Disney, but it will be a celebration of the Star Wars Saga by fans and for fans.

This virtual fest is set to take place on the weekend that Star Wars Celebration was going to happen, August 28th through 30th. The convention will also be rising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

ForceFest is being organized by podcast and live stream hosts, including Richard & Sarah Woloski (Skywalking Through Neverland), David Jesse (Tatooine Sons), Tyler Bucks (Chatter Squadron), Pete Fletzer (Around the Galaxy), Ben Hart (Star Wars Underworld), and Frank Rich (Star Wars Autograph News). The convention will have six virtual stages with panels, interviews, a virtual Cantina meetup, and discussions on all things Star Wars including books, comics, movies, games, and TV. The virtual convention will allow more people from all over the world to attend than an in-person event.
