It’s no secret that one of our favorite parts of traveling to Walt Disney World is the food. Whether we’re seeking out the best value for our Disney Dining Plan or uncovering some underrated eats, food for us is right up there with making sure you’ve got your FastPass+ picks in order.

Next up on Just the Facts: Disney World is located in central Florida, and with that comes some scorching days throughout the year. Thankfully, the World has an abundance of snack options that can help cool you off when the heat gets a little too crisp.
Here are our favorite Disney World treats to snack on when you want to cool down!
LeFou’s Brew
Poor LeFou may not be the most popular fellow in Belle’s village, but the guy got a drink named after him, so he must be doing something right. Not only that, but it’s actually quite refreshing on when it’s high noon in the Magic Kingdom.

The key ingredient that brings the chill here is the frozen apple juice that is complemented with hints of toasted marshmallow and topped with all-natural passion fruit-mango foam. You’ll find this concoction bubbling over at Gaston’s Tavern.
Anything at Vivoli il Gelato
It was hard to pick just one thing from Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs to recommend because this is basically cool city. If you’re feeling more classic gelato on a particular day or maybe you want an artisan shake to sip on, this Disney Springs hot-spot has you covered.

One of the cool things about Vivoli il Gelato is that you’ll sometimes be able to find some cool seasonal shakes and other desserts to celebrate the holidays with, like their Fanta Strawberry Shake that we saw during this year’s Valentine’s Day. You’ll be able to cool off and try a unique treat all at the same time!
Celebration Parfait
We almost had the same problem choosing which snack to pull from the Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet food truck that can typically be found in the West Side area of Disney Springs, but in the end we had to go with the Celebration Parfait. This thing is a beast, featuring Celebration Cookie Dough, a Mickey cake, vanilla custard, strawberries, whipped cream and a cherry.

This sweet treat has a few different textures at play with the Mickey cake and cookie dough, but then you hit that vanilla custard and whipped cream for the cleanser. Definitely consider grabbing one of these treats.
Blue Milk and Green Milk
Here’s one for all you vegans out there. When travelling among the markets and alleys of Black Spire Outpost, Blue Milk and Green Milk can make for a sweet and cool alternative to dairy-based milk that may not be the greatest when you’re sweating it out in the Florida sun.

The main difference between the two is the fruity notes of the milks, with the Green Milk having more of a zing to it thanks to the citrus flavor. Either way you go, the Milk Stand can be a nice place to stop for a cool drink on the go. (And for grown-ups, there are spiked versions, too!)
Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar
An iconic snack of the parks, the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar is widely available around Disney World. There’s just something about taking a snack and shaping it like Mickey’s classic ears that instantly make us want it!

Here you’ve got the best of both worlds: a crunchy chocolate coating surrounding sweet and soft vanilla ice cream. It’s one of the easiest and most fun ways to stay cool in Disney World (and one of the best ways to shave off some Disney Dining Plan snack credits, too).
Dole Whip
Of course we had to put the Dole Whip on this list. Just like the Mickey Ice Cream Bar, it’s a staple of the Magic Kingdom and refreshing to boot. The fruity flavor makes this an almost unbeatable success story for staying cool throughout the day.

You can stick with the traditional pineapple flavor or mix it up with raspberry or coconut when they’re available. You can find your Dole Whip at a few different places: Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Resort, and Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs are surefire bets.

What? No love for my favorite…the Citrus Swirl at the Sunshine Tree Terrace. Thank goodness a Jeremiah’s opened near where we live. I can create something similiar.
