NEWS! Disney World Annual Passholders Will Now Be Able to Make Additional Reservations in Addition to a Resort Hotel Stay

Last month, Disney World debuted their Disney Park Pass reservation system, opening it to Resort hotel guests with tickets, Annual Passholders, and all other ticket holders.

When the system first debuted, Disney stated that Annual Passholders would either be able to use their three allocated reservation days, or alternatively would be able to reserve for the length of any resort hotel stay they had. Now, Disney has announced that this will be changing.

Starting today, Disney World Annual Passholders with a resort hotel stay will be able to make their three reservations in addition to the length of their hotel stay.

The change has been noted on the Disney World website. We’ll note that a couple of our team members that have Annual Passes and upcoming resort stays tried this morning and were unsuccessful at booking their additional three days. The system could still be updating to the change.

We’ll let you know if and when we are able to see this change reflected on the PArk PAss reservation website, but for now we will continue to keep you updated on any further developments for the Disney Park Pass system, so stay tuned!

  1. This is just another way to con passholders and a pretty transparent one at that. Anyone booking a Disney stay can book park entry (subject to availability) so why would this be of any use to an out of state/foreign passholder or anyone else who doesn’t live around the corner?
Your annual pass (they’re probably going to quietly drop the word “annual” soon) gets you a vacation consisting of THREE WHOLE DAYS in a theme park, not guaranteed of course!! Why would anybody who has to plan a vacation (ie most everyone reading Allears) be at all interested in that?
I never thought I’d say this – blimey I even bought a second home nearby to be “near the magic” (I remember when that was more than just a catchy phrase) – but it’s time to find somewhere less greedy to take a vacation, ie most anywhere!

  2. I booked a stay at Pop Century and was able to book 6 park reservation days total. I have three days in Sept and three is October. I only have a resort stay for September.
