Yesterday, Japan announced that they would be lifting their state of emergency in all remaining districts, including Tokyo.
Soon after the news was released, Tokyo Disneyland updated their website to reveal a reopening date for the resort’s shopping district.
Tokyo Disney Resort’s Ikspiari Shopping Mall will be reopening on June 1st. The reopening follows a trend from the global Disney resorts for their shopping center to reopen prior to the theme parks.
This happened at both Shanghai Disney Resort, and is currently the case at Disney World, where Disney Springs has reopened prior to an announced date for the parks’ reopening.
Currently, Tokyo Disney Resort has not released a reopening date for the theme parks. We will continue to update as more information is released.
