Disneyland Paris Donates 15 Tons of Food to Local and National Food Banks

Every Disney theme park is currently closed, which means there’s a lot of excess food that’s not being eaten. Both Disney World and Disneyland have responded to the closure by donating their unused food to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

And now, Disneyland Paris, the latest international park to close its gates, has also pledged its excess food to local food banks, providing over 15 tons of fruits, vegetables, dairy and more to people in need.

Disney is donating food to local and national organizations like Secours Populaire Français and Restaurants du Cœur,making this one of the fastest and largest scale donations of fresh goods in the park’s history.

The move is in line with the park’s commitment to reduce food waste and support communities in need.
