In light of the temporary closure of Disneyland , a good amount of food will go uneaten in the parks.

To mitigate this, Disneyland has announced that they will be donating all excess food to a local food bank!
The Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County will receive all of the excess food from Disneyland Resort. Dairy, fruit, vegetables, packaged goods, and banquet meals are being donated.

This is in line with Disneyland’s history of donating food to those in need. So, of course, the process of the donation will closely follow food safety guidelines.
What do you think of the move to donate excess food? We love it! Share your thoughts in the comments!
