If you’re looking for something fun to do at home, we’ve found the perfect thing for you! Disney, in partnership with Khan Academy, launched Imagineering in a Box last year, a series of lessons designed to encourage creativity and innovation! Now that everything is closed, there’s never been a better time to start. Who knows, you could end up making the next Disney masterpiece!

The program consists of three courses, all of which are 100% free! You’ll learn how to design your own themed land, fill it with attractions, and bring the characters inside to life!

Lessons cover everything from good storytelling to the basics of engineering, showing just how multi-disciplined one has to be to join the ranks of Disney’s elite Imagineers!

The program is scalable, and appropriate for individuals and or groups, in case the whole family wants to join in.

  1. This looks so fun! I love creating my own parks in games like Roller Coaster Tycoon, so this is right up my alley. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Plenty of people are still working during this. Does the course include planning and then cutting your budget way down?
