This week we are visiting with one of the most dangerous mammals on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Adult Hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) are mostly herbivorous but are very territorial. They defend their territory from other hippos and have been known to attack boats and land vehicles. In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we can watch hippopotamus being graceful walking along the bottom of their pool through very thick glass.
What is your favorite African mammal?
