There’s a brand new large-scale gingerbread display at Walt Disney World, and you won’t need a Park ticket to enjoy it!

Wilderness Lodge has introduced a new, charming gingerbread addition that smells great and looks even better! Check out the gingerbread cabin!

This impressive work of confectionery magic used 144 pounds of honey, 100 pounds of flour, and 20 pounds of egg whites — among other kitchen scale-busting ingredients!

And the result? This work of edible art! The design is in keeping with the Resort’s National Parks Lodge feel. And the bear out front? He’s a piece of Disney history! It’s Humphrey, a cartoon bear who made his Disney debut in the 1950s!

We love the sides of the log cabin, with their stripes of log jam contrasting with the dark gingerbread logs. And the shingles? Be still our pastry-loving hearts.

The cabin itself isn’t overly decorated for the holiday, but if you check out the back, you’ll be rewarded with this lovely floral Mickey wreath! (Lemme see if the gift shop is hawking these because I’d like one!)

As per usual, this gingerbread display is not for the eating, but there are plenty of treats nearby. We sampled a couple for, you know, research purposes.

The Spiced Moose Cookies are a fun, thematically-appropriate offering at Wilderness Lodge. We loved this simple cookie with its mild holiday spice.

The Reindeer Food is a great way to try a bunch of different sweet treats — and to share them, if you choose.

And Erin McKenna’s allergen-free bakery is providing some safe treats, too!

We’re thrilled to see the list of large-scale gingerbread displays growing at Walt Disney World. These are truly works of art, and it’s a joy to tour them each year.
