Something sweet has been baked over at Walt Disney World!
A holiday treat tradition is back at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, and its doors are officially open for business.
That’s right, the annual gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian is back, and officially open in the lobby of the hotel!
Disney’s team of pastry chefs who worked on the house cut the ribbon to officially open this year’s display — and they had a special guest there to help them!
Also opening today is the shop within the house, where you can purchase gingerbread shingles and tons of other seasonal treats, including these gingerbread cookies!
These Mickey cookies are another delicious treat available for sale in the gingerbread house!
These Christmas tree-shaped cookies are beautifully decorated and packaged. We think they would make for the perfect gift this holiday season!
Of course, you can’t have a Disney gingerbread house shop without a few Disney character-themed treats as well! These cookies feature the fairies from Sleeping Beauty.
This cake pop almost looks too festive to eat (key word: almost)!
We love the colors of this delightfully fun pastry set. It comes in a cute box, and would make for a great present to bring back from your Disney trip!
This snowman pastry is truly cute as could be! As cute as it is, it looks just as delicious!
The shop also has some holiday merchandise for sale! This Grand Floridian Mug displays the elegant Grand Floridian logo on one side…
…and Princess Aurora on the other! The Grand Floridian Mug is available for $24.99.
This limited-edition holiday pin is absolutely gorgeous! It displays Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip behind a snowy window, adorned with green and red jewels.

How long is the gingerbread house on display at the Grand Floridian?
Hi Jane, Usually the gingerbread displays are up until early January.
It would be nice to see the no sugar added cookies.
Hi Unfortunately there are a group of us who suffer from severe latex allergies that would not ever be able to visit your gingerbread house no matter how much we would want to because you have chosen to use latex balloons in your display.
Hi Mary, We were there for the grand opening celebration. It is possible the balloons were there for the ceremony, and won’t be there all the time. The next time we visit we will check for balloons.
