Work is currently being done in Disney World‘s Magic Kingdom in the area of the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). This is a busy area with parking lot tram pick-up/drop-off areas, bag and security screening, ticket and will call windows, a shop, restrooms, and of course the Monorail and Ferry to the park.

As the work progresses, the parking lot tram pick-up/drop-off location has been temporarily moved.
The temporary locations will involve more walking to get to the TTC, then the Monorail or Ferry to the Magic Kingdom. The new, temporary pick-up/drop-off locations are near the medical and disabled parking lots.

The new location means walking under the bridge that the trams generally travel underneath.

A timeframe has not been announced for this work. We will be sure to keep you posted on this project and any announcements.

I found this to be a hassle. I had to park in Peter Pan lot both times I was there. There was no tram service from Peter Pan so I had to walk from the parking lot under the bridge to the TTC. One time it was in 100 degree weather and the other time a thunderstorm opened up on my way.
It was not that bad this past weekend.
I understand that work has to be done, but that’s a long walk for some people! I don’t think Disney realizes that there are people who are not able-bodied enough to walk that far without having to rest.
