Review of All Star Music Resort (Value Resort)

We stayed at All Star Music from 1/31-2/7 and had a wonderful stay. Check in was smooth and friendly, we were assigned a room in the Jazz section which was only a 2 minute walk to the food court and bus stops. Our room was immaculate and well cleaned our entire trip. It seemed spacious, we are a family of four and had plenty of room.
The busses were great, our longest wait was only 9 minutes and most waits were less than 5 minutes. The trips to the parks didn't seem to take long at all. The bus drivers were all extremely nice.
The food court was awesome, we ate dinner there every night. There is so much variety and the tables and soda stations were all super clean. If you have young kids if you go to the end of the food court in the corner there are cartoons and coloring pages with crayons.
The grounds were bright, clean, and cheerful. The pools were fun, clean and well heated. Life guards were super thorough and there were activities by the pool most of the day along with movies at night. The resort itself was quite compact, we enjoyed walking around the different sections.
The only con was the walls seemed a tad thin, you can hear flushing like at most Disney resorts but we did hear talking a few times as well from neighboring rooms. Also there were a lot of cheer and dance groups but they were all respectful, well behaved and very nice kids. This was not a con at all, also this resort had incredibly nice cast members.
We would highly, highly recommend this resort!

Thin WallsReview of Nassau - Bahamas

Everything about our Dream 3 night Bahamas cruise was great but Nassau itself isn't terrific. We'd read reviews which encouraged visitors to skip the port and stay aboard or book an excursion so we did. Our family of four (two teens, mom and dad) took the catamaran sail and snorkle trip. We had a beautiful day and enjoyed being out on the water. The catamaran was clean and the crew was friendly. The trip had about 30-35 people but the boat was large enough to accommodate everyone easily. We sailed for about an hour, snorkled for about an hour and then return-sailed for about an hour. Our kids loved hanging out at the front of the catamaran catching the breeze. The snorkeling was fun, but not spectacular. We saw a variety of fish and some nice color. An hour was enough time in the water. Our son brought his Go Pro camera and got some fun video diving down into the water. The cost for this trip was reasonable (about $50/pp) and it included sodas and bagged chips after snorkeling. This got us out and about in Nassau - we walked by the straw market and skipped the drinking scene at Senior Frogs - and I would recommend it for people wanting a little activity and a nice sail along the coast.

Very crowded and noisy. But the food has wonderful flavor. Had the pork BLT that was perfection in a sandwich. Also had the gooey cake. Only served at lunch, which is the main reason we eat at this restaurant. LOL

All the visits I have made to Walt Disney World I had never tried Columbia House. What a mistake! The lobster roll was excellent!!! Chips were home made, crispy and warm!!! Little crowded in the line to order, but plenty of seats upstairs. Will be back.

Food was just so-so. Really enjoyed the French onion soup. Chicken was very, very dry. Order taken and bread, which waitress said would be good to soak up our soup, didn't arrive until we had finished our soup, and had to ask for it. Same with drinks. They arrived after our entree. And we only wanted water. Service was slow and food was not the best. Happy to experience the Be Our Guest restaurant, but won't try so hard to get a reservation again.

This meal was perfection from the start to finish. From Armoun our server to the last bite of creme brûlée, it was perfection. I had the fish with potato scales as my entree. Not only did it taste good, it was beautiful to look at. It is pricey, so it was a benefit to be on the dining plan.

This review is for breakfast.
This was a great meal. I had the polenta with poached eggs. Delicious.
Husband had the cured meat plate. Also fabulous. Very high quality.
Reasonably priced for what you get. Doubt there is another place on property that offers this type of menu.
It was pretty quiet since I doubt anyone except for BW, BC or YC guests would make the effort to trek over there for breakfast.
Will definitely go again.

Saved our last dining plan meal to have breakfast here. Food was fresh and great variety. Loved being able to sample some ethnic food without ordering a full meal. Wasn't a thing on the menu that I didn't enjoy. Friendly servers and cooks/chef.

Nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. Service was exceptional. Flavors were outstanding. I am allergic to coriander, so asked if other menu items, not listing coriander did in fact contain coriander. The chef came out and explained what foods to avoid. She then made me a chicken dish with all the flavors, minus the coriander. It was wonderful. Thank you Disney for this service.
Oh yes, the scenery isn't too bad either 🙂

Beautiful place to watch the Wishes fireworks. Food was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Worth the two dining meals required. Only drawback was the number of young children in the restaurant. Our reservations were for 8:30. Two tables near us had young children that did not want to be there. You could tell they had a full day in the park and were tired. Crying, up and down in their seats, under the table was quite the distraction. You had to feel for them. But, for those having a celebration(30th anniversary) it was not what we hoped would be our experience.
