I'm not a fan of sweet breakfast food, but my dining companions were and loved the tonga toast. I had the pulled pork hash with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, and it was my favorite dish of our trip!
Service was fine--you can tell they crank people through, but we appreciated being able to get a last minute reservation.
We'll be back.
Pros:
The food! And real coffee!Cons:

This is still one of the best restaurants at Disney. Love the hot towels that come out before the meal. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and steered us in the right direction. The "taste of Africa" starter is great! You can still get the filet with the mac & cheese as it was served a few years ago. The short rib was great but needed a different side. Desserts were pretty good, but the tea and coffee are the real stars. We LOVED our meal here!
Pros:
wine list, tea list, service, interesting foodCons:

We ordered a special occasion cake, and the staff was awesome at boxing it up for us, and sticking it in the fridge for us to get later. Also, the staff deserves a medal for trying their best to calm three screaming kids (a baby and two elementary schoolers that should have known better) whose parents were oblivious to the fact that they were ruining everyone else's meal.
The steak was amazing, so was the tomato and mozzarella salad. Suggest making late dinner reservations for maybe less screaming kids?

Yummy treats in an adorable building. The chocolate pretzel had fruit baked in to it and was REALLY good!

So sad that there was no charm here, since I love France (the EPCOT version and the real deal)! That being said, service was pleasant and efficient. The cheese plate was a great value at $10. 4 out of the 5 cheeses were good!

The servers here were SO nice. Of course the fish & chips are great, and the potato & leek soup was good too.
We sat outside on a cold night, but there were heaters on the patio. The only problem was that they glowed red, so we kind of felt like we were dining in Dante's inferno!

Great service, awesome fish and chipsCons:

The egg rolls here were good--one step above Chinese takeout.
The peach oolong tea was not good. It was like drinking a peach jolly rancher.

A good empanada (and gosh, I do love them) can make up for lots of shortcomings. In this case, that included stale chips, not enough tables, and slow service. But the empanadas and salsa were first rate!

I think our not-so-great experience was due to our waiter. We came right at 4 pm just so we could grab some appetizers and beers while sitting in the AC, and were in and out in 20 minutes. Our waiter was clearly mad that we weren't ordering a full meal, and became rude. Honestly, the food was just average. The restaurant was beautiful, though, and I'm hoping our poor service was a one time occurrence. We'll give it another try one day.
Oh, and the annual pass discount is only good on entrees. Odd.

Stopped in for a quick snack (yay for edamame--we had enough pretzels and baked goods by the time we got to Japan)! The setting is beautiful!
