Our family loves this event so much we came here on 2 different days of our 5 day vacation. Food is awesome and hard to pick your favorite

Pros:

Wide variety to taste

Cons:

Would be nice if some of the tastes were either slightly bigger in size or slightly cheaper as having a family of 6 tasting got really expensive quickly

Review of Saratoga Springs Resort (Disney Vacation Club)

Everytime we have gone lately, we stay at SSR. We find it quiet, peaceful and serene. We usually make a building request and it is granted. It is a very large resort with studio, one-, two-bedroom villas, as well as, a grand villa. Many pools since the resort is massive. We only stay here! Also the fact that you are just a stroll away from Disney Springs. Couldn't ask for more.

Pros:

quietness, peacefulness, serene, many choices of accommodations, good food court, close proximity to Disney Springs

Cons:

If you want to stay closer to the 'bubble', this resort may not be for you.

Review of Tusker House Character Breakfast

Hands down the best breakfast buffet on property. This place is SO DELICIOUS. Themed like an African lodge, it has a huge atrium where the buffet is. There was so much good food. There is a perfect blend of African and American offerings.

The reason I give this restaurant an extra thumbs up is due to its Gluten-Free offerings. If you are Celiac or gluten sensitive, this place is AWESOME. The chef will walk you around to show you what you CAN have...and it\\'s quite a bit of food. There was also an entire Udy\\'s display sitting off on its own with GF muffins, bread, donuts, etc. This was the only buffet during my visit that had something like this.

The characters are of course a must as well - they are all in their safari gear and look adorable as usual. Expect to meet the Fab Five.

Pros:

Great FOOD, fantastic Gluten-Free options, characters in safari-attire

Review of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (Magic Kingdom)

Loved the festivities but it was much too crowded. We never trick or treated, didn't get to meet any characters as all the lines were too long. We used the advice to see the later parade and show but it was still very crowded. During the day the crowds were much lighter than normal but after 7 it became as crowded as a typical summer day which we avoid. I thought this was a special event to do but for 7 of us it was a big waste of money

Pros:

Decorations

Cons:

Too crowded, too expensive

Review of Pop Century Resort (Value Resort)

Best lower-tier hotel! We have stayed at Pop Century for 4 visits so far, and it is definitely our favorite (we can't afford higher-level hotels). We love how close we can stay to the transportation; the food is usually good; we can easily use the microwave in the food court area; they have very good staff. Suggestion to save more money or if you have food issues: if you are flying in, use Amazon Prime Now to order food to be delivered to Pop Century. I do the order on the Magic Bus from the airport. They will deliver it to Pop, and then the concierge will deliver it to our room, including putting the cold things in the refrigerator! I also bring a \"mini-crock\" to cook my oatmeal in the mornings and to cook veggies in the evening (hard to get enough veggies in the parks).

Pros:

Best low-tier in terms of comfort and ability to have a room close to transportation. Good staff, mostly reliable transportation speed. It will get the gondolas!

Cons:

usually the farthest out bus pickup at the parks of all the hotels

Review of Art of Animation Resort (Value Resort)

This resort is fantastic! If you are staying at a value resort, this is the way to go. The theming is perfect for all ages; we stayed in a Cars suite and it was adorable.

This area of the resort is the most immersive, in my opinion. There is a Cozy Cone Motel pool with cone cabanas. There are many photo ops with almost every major character from the film - Lightning McQueen, Sally, Mater, Luigi, Guido, Sarge, Doc. They are life-sized and detailed just as you would expect from Disney. The rooms take the theming to a whole new level, unlike the other value resorts which go for a more streamlined effect. Our room had Cozy Cone lamps, toolbox styled furniture, and even themed shower curtains.

It is worth it to even come visit and take a bus ride over if you have little fans of Cars, Lion King, Finding Nemo, or the Little Mermaid. Each area has life-sized photo-ops that make for great photos.

The check-in, food court, and sundries shop are all combined in a manner identical to other value resorts. The food was the same Disney value resort offerings, but they did have some different offerings as well.

Pros:

Fantastic theming! Amazing photo-ops! Rooms are ultra-themed unlike some of the other value resorts.

Cons:

None

Review of Theme Park Photo Pass

Reviewed by Brbird Review Date: 09/25/2018

The value of the photopass is dependent on which photographer you get. These are when I suggest it is well worth the money and extra time: multiple people in your party, special occasions (birthday, anniversary, reunion), no pressure for time, lots of days in the parks. DEFINITELY worth it if you are doing a runDisney event!!!

Pros:

all ride photos and videos; if you get a great photographer AND a photographer who isn't super busy, you can get fantastic pictures and a ton of pictures

Cons:

some photographers make errors in picture quality/background; if it is busy, you may wait for a long time.

Our family totally loves the Hoop-Dee-Doo! We have so many wonderful memories of the many times we have seen the show. It is a \"must do\" for us on every trip to Disney World. The food is really good and there is something for everyone to enjoy. The children bounce with excitement when it is time for dessert. The show is quite memorable with lots of singing, humor and shenanigans! We all leave with smiles on our faces. I can't imagine a trip to Disney without stopping by Pioneer Hall.

Pros:

Family oriented, good food, audience participation, great staff

Cons:

Pricey for most families
