Review of Tusker House Lunch and Dinner Buffet

We did the lunch buffet at Tuskegee house in the spring. The food was interesting and tasty. My daughter is vegan and the chef came over and took her through the buffet line to show her what was vegan. He also brought her a special vegan dessert. We all loved the atmosphere and the food and would go back again. Only reason for the 8 rating was the price. I don’t think we ate enough food to justify it for us. Next time we’ll skip breakfast and come really hungry!
Pros:
Food, atmosphere, special dietary needs metCons:

This is absolutely my favorite lunch spot in all of WDW. Everything I've eaten here has been delicious, and so much better than the typical counter service restaurants. The atmosphere is magical...where else in Florida can you see snow falling outside the window?
Pros:
Plenty of seating, you select your own seats and your meals will be brought to you on a serving cart. The food is wonderful!Cons:
Can be very noisy at peak meal time. Tables are not always cleared off in a timely manner for guests looking for a place to sit. Hard to get an ADR because of its popularity.Review of El Mercado de Coronado

We took a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness Campground during the Christmas Holidays. The carriage driver was very friendly and chatty and made the ride a pleasure. We rode through the campground and got to see all of the camper decorations which made this ride extra special. At the end we got a special disney pin and pictures with the horse and driver. A great way to make the holidays special.
Pros:
Fun, relaxing, special treatCons:

We have eaten breakfast here several times and each experience has been first rate. Our last visit was on my son's birthday and our cast member was fantastic, he spent tons of time socializing with my kids and telling stories. The characters were attentive and spent tons of time of with them and let us get tons of pictures. They were out of birthday cards and my son was so upset. He collects Disney items and wanted it for his stash. We stopped by several times over the next few days trying to get one with no luck. On our last day, we stopped one more time and after speaking with three different cast members, one woman, whose name escapes me said she might have one in a hidden spot. She came back with it and made his trip.
While I feel the cost is a bit much for the buffet, the service and atmosphere have been worth every penny

Excellent event to attend at least once. It was very fun and festive, and everyone was in the Halloween spirit. Big tip: trick or treating is fun, but cast members hand out the candy, not villains, so not worth spending a lot of time getting candy. Excellent shows and little dance parties that are only seen at this party.
Pros:
Short lines for attractions -- we rode all our favorites with little or no wait, including Seven Dwarf's Mine Train.Cons:
Very long lines for characters. And watch the weather -- the parade was canceled due to thunderstorms, so we never got to see it.Review of Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - Breakfast

I had never been to a character meal, so I booked a solo lunch. As a 64 year old grey haired \"princess,\" I was treated like a queen! I had a table near the buffet area, and could see into the main banquet hall. I enjoyed seeing the looks of pure joy on the little princess' faces when Belle and Snow White and the others made their rounds, and I figured they wouldn't stop by my table, but each one did, engaging me in conversations and posing for pictures. The best was Mary Poppins, who confided that Bert had been behaving quite childishly that day, and she was going to have a little talk with him later about his behavior! The food was very good ( Try the brown cheese, it's delicious!), and the waitress took the time to tell me about her favorite desserts from her home Norway. She brought me a sample dessert plate of 3 little cakes, the apple cake being my favorite. I felt I was treated just as nicely as all the younger princesses there, and it is one of my favorite memories of all my Disney experiences!
Pros:
Good food, memorable chats with Aurora and Mary Poppins.Cons:
