Love this restaurant. It is a must do every time we go to the Studios. We love the pizzas, salads and the meatball sandwiches. Love that you can eat in or out. We usually go upstairs so we can look out. Looking forward to going back.
Pros:
As stated above.Cons:
Don't like that it closes at 4 pm. Maybe when Star Wars Land opens, it will stay open later.Review of Tiffins

We loved Tiffins! Not huge portions-but that's a good thing. The food was exquisite, comparable to fine restaurants in big cities. Even better, we bought the Rivers of Light package and the food was cheaper than if we had bought off the menu (especially if you have the surf and turf). You could actually buy the package, save money on dinner, and throw away the ROL tickets if you wanted to.
Pros:
Food quality and service and decorCons:

Great for a counter service lunch. Not so much the pizza - too much crust but love the meatball sandwich and caeser salad.
Pros:
Seating inside and outside on a not too hot day.Cons:

This was our 7th visit this resort (Sept 7th to Sept 21st) and we certainly noticed a few changes since we were here last in 2014.
We were a little disappointed not to have any welcoming towel Mickeys though I was expecting this as it’s been mentioned before in other reviews.
Our room was fine in Building 17, by a smaller pool which we used most, with only one visit to Ol’ Man Island. We found the main pool to be a big disappointment - they have made it shallower (why?) and there were organised games for the kids all the time. This is fine but the girl delivering these activities had a really whiny voice that got very grating after awhile.
While the food in the food court is fine, we found a general increase in cost across the board. $1.69 is unacceptable for a single piece of fruit. One morning we had pastries, juice and fruit for 3 and it cost over $35 - unacceptable! Disney can still make money on the food and drink served without such ridiculous mark-ups.
The bus issue also needs a mention - the provision of buses for this resort is ridiculous! For such a big resort, I cannot believe that some buses are still shared with French Quarter. It is obvious that Disney are trying to do something about this as on a couple of occasions, a large bendy bus arrived which carried far more people. Also annoying was the trip around the entire resort before arriving at the main South Depot where most people would disembark. This would be the first drop off point, not the last.
We will probably return as we do love the resort but hope that standards haven’t dropped further. As other people have already said, this may be a moderate resort, but it’s still expensive per night when compared to other off property resorts and hotels and as such should have the standards to match.
Pros:
Beautiful resort, lovely grounds, everybody extremely helpfulCons:

We ate here after a full day in Animal Kingdom on 10th September. We were a bit early for our reservation but they were fine with that, apart from the fact that my husband was not wearing a collared shirt (my fault for not reading the dress code) but they were able to led him one so all was OK.
The food was wonderful - very different from anything else in WDW.Our server was lovely and very attentive.
This was one of the nicest meals we’ve ever had at WDW

We ate here for breakfast on 18th Sept after having to cancel a dinner reservation the previous Saturday.
We all had the ‘Gaston’s Feast’, which arrived quickly despite the dining room being extremely crowded. The food was good and hot.
It did take a while to actually get in to order our food and the ordering system was not easy to use - several people were having problems.
We also ordered the Master’s Cupcake so that we could try the fabled Grey Stuff but have to say that we didn’t like it - too sweet and sickly
Pros:
Decent food, brought out quicklyCons:
Noisy, ordering system convolutedReview of Tangierine Cafe

We love the Tangerine Cafe!! We have been eating here since our first trip in 1999 and have never had a bad experience yet.
Our party of three had the schwarma platters which, as always, provide plenty of delicious meat and tasty bread with hummus and other middle eastern accompaniments. Clean plates all round.
I also highly recommend the iced mint tea that they serve at the coffee/cake counter - it is extremely refreshing on a hot day.

Iced mint tea, delicious foodCons:

We ate here for the first time 20th Sept. we arrived on time for our ADR and were given a pager, which went off virtually straight away after we’d been given it!
We were seated with another family but we knew this was going to happen so it was not a problem. They kept themselves to themselves and only started chatting as we were getting ready to leave.
The food - we really enjoyed the selection and ate some new things. The stand outs were the pork schnitzel, the potato salad, the sausages and the pretzel rolls. We were too full and didn’t eat dessert.
We all had 1/2 litre of beer and enjoyed that. Couldn’t have drunk a full litre!!
The band were very entertaining. We arrived at 1.15 just as they were starting and really enjoyed singing along and the dancing and drinking that ensued.
Our server was OK - he took the plates away in a timely fashion when they were empty but was not overly chatty or interactive.
We will return though as we all enjoyed it.
