NEWS: Disney+ Prices and Launch Dates Revealed for Over 40 New Countries

If you want access to lots of classic Disney, Star Wars, or Marvel content, you can generally turn to Disney+.

Disney+ debuted in 2019, and since then the streaming service has grown significantly, with Disney reporting approximately 129.8 million subscribers as of early 2022. Now Disney+ is expanding across the world, and here are the dates and prices!

The Disney+ streaming service will launch across Europe, Africa, and West Asia in phases, starting in May 2022, as reported by Variety. This expansion will grant Disney+ access to 42 new countries and 11 territories.

Disney+ is already available in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Latin America. In India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, the service is known as Disney Plus Hotstar.

In the newly included countries, Disney+ subscribers will have many of the same perks as current subscribers, including downloads, IMAX Enhanced, profiles, content restrictions, and more.

Prices and launch dates have been revealed by Disney and Variety shared a chart breakdown of dates and prices for each country and territory. After the May 18th launch in South Africa, 16 countries will follow on June 8th.

On June 14th, Disney+ will launch in 24 more countries, followed by Israel on June 16th.

And also on June 14th, these 11 territories will have access to Disney+.
