I got to ride in a Minnie van on my birthday in August. It dropped us off at Disney Springs where we attended a cake decorating class at Amorette's. Our driver, Veronica, was very funny and very knowledgeable and as a long time cast member, her history with Disney was fascinating. And the cars are so cute!

A quick trip to Disney Springs (very early in the morning) when bus schedule couldn't guarantee an on time arrivalCons:

This is a terrific perk when staying on Disney property. I remember running to the Mears ticket window in the olden days buying a round trip ticket. I hope Disney continues to reward us with this free service.

Enjoy the convenience of not having to drive once we are in the parks or hotels.

You do not have to worry about getting to and from.Cons:
Do not enjoy having to stand up or being crowded. Hopefully, with the Skyliner, fewer people would use the buses. Either way, I wish that at the end of the night more and more buses would be running. I think it is a safety hazard to have so many people standing especially after a long day at the parks.Review of Disney Dining Plan

August was my first experience with the dining plan. We came out $156 ahead but we ate and drank more than we normally would have. I wouldn't buy the dining plan again but when WDW offers free dining, it's very worthwhile.

Pucks Express at Disney Springs is an excellent use of a counter service credit. So many of the Signature 2 credit restaurants are not worth it (based on past dining experiences)Cons:

This place is consistently good. We have been eating here for years. Our pasta and wine lunch was delicious -chicken alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs was very good.

No visit to Disney World would be complete for me without a meal at Via Napoli. My carciofi pizza never disappoints and we also enjoyed the sea bass and chicken marsala. This visit we tried cocktails rather than wine and we made good choices. Same with dessert-tiramisu was excellent. Our waiter Andrea was so nice and so funny. We were celebrating my birthday and a group of waiters serenaded me with a rousing song-so much fun. I'll eat here again next visit!

I stayed at Coronado Springs last fall and enjoyed the resort very much. The Gran Destino Tower was near completion then and I was able to check it out during my August vacation. Our destination was Toledo, the restaurant on the 15th floor. The place was breathtaking-the ceiling was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive and our dinner was terrific. Our drinks were unusual and tasty. We enjoyed the filet and scallops and the desserts were yummy. This was a wonderful dinner and when we were done we visited other areas of the Tower-really lovely. The lobby lanterns display was striking. The Tower is worth a visit and so is dinner at Toledo.

What a fantastic August birthday gift-a three night stay at Yacht Club with club level privileges! Our room was comfortable and very near the Regatta Club where we took advantage of breakfast and dinner offerings, snacks and drinks. The food offerings were varied and excellent. Everyone servicing club level guests was so friendly and made me feel so special with birthday greetings, a rose and a special cocktail when I arrived. I never enjoyed getting older more! The best feature of the resort is the short walk into Epcot and the Boardwalk. I would love to stay there again on a future visit.

It's not a trip to Disney unless you ride the monorail! The buses are wonderful too. I have not yet been on the Skyliner

It's so convenient to walk out the front of my hotel and catch a bus to one of the parks or Disney Springs
