I feel that the monorail is the fastest way to travel. Unfortunately, it only connects the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Pros:

fast, usually a short wait

Cons:

the steep walkway to get to monorail

This has always been my favourite way to get around at Disney. Even on days when i don't go to the parks I just ride on the monorail. The best route is towards Epcot and it takes you around some of the park and you get such an amazing view. It's always ran smoothly without any problems when we've gone. It does fill up quick in the morning and at closing but it goes fast. It's iconic to Walt Disney and just to ride it makes me smile.

Pros:

Quick, fits a lot of guests, great view from high up

Cons:

We've heard of breakdowns and other problems but haven't experienced any. They do need a little freshening up

One of the first things my children look for upon arrival to Disney World are the monorails. They are quintessential Disney. They are a great air conditioned way to get from point A to B and have a higher capacity than busses. We always make a point to ride the monorail even if we aren't staying in a monorail connected hotel!

Pros:

Air conditioned, higher capacity, quick

Cons:

Occasionally are delayed en route, but in over 20 years of visiting Disney we've never been stopped for more than 5 minutes.

Review of Walt Disney World Skyliner

Have been on two trips to WDW since the Skyliner gondolas opened. The first was the week they opened. Love it! They go faster than thought and really move a lot of people through. Great views during day and night. Harder to see through the wrapped cars. Air moves so not hot, but when car stops, it can get warm. You can't just ride and return to same spot. Must get off then back on. Didn't stop much first week. Left the day of the accident. Returned two weeks later, when back up and running. Seemed to stop more often, and also seemed to run slower at times. Great transportation addition. Should add more!

Pros:

Fast. Fun. Minimal wait times, if at all. Great views.

Cons:

Wish went to more resorts!

Review of Storybook Dining at Artist Point

This character meal is absolutely amazing! Our favorite meal this trip! The only reason I deducted 1 point is because we didn't care for the appetizers. We were on the Dining plan & this is a good restaurant to use a credit for at $55 per adult & $33 per child. But the entrees were AMAZING! My daughter got the chicken dish, my 11 year old granddaughter got the prime rib & I got the pork shank. My 8 year old grandson got chicken tenders. I had planned on getting the prime rib, but my waitress was in awe over the pork shank so I ordered it instead, and oh my gosh...it was melt in your mouth tender & perfectly seasoned! So glad she said we should try it. I cannot remember her name to save my soul, but she was super friendly & made sure we were taken care of. None of us liked the adult appetizers but the kids version was pretty neat with the "make your own" honey butter. I had the Enchanted Apple drink & it was so yummy! The kids had the Transformation Potion which they both enjoyed. And the desserts, oh the desserts! The Miners Treasures were just ok but the Gooseberry Pie & Poison Apples were FABULOUS! And the popcorn was really good as well. The theme & story of the whole experience was top notch & the characters spent tons of time with us! The Evil Queen scolded my grandson for approaching her without permission which was actually pretty funny & we asked her if she wanted to join us for the rest of our trip! Just kidding. She was awesome & did a really good job with her character! I feel like we stayed there for a long time having fun with Snow White, Grumpy & Dopey, & were not rushed in the least little bit! Great food & good times! Lots of memories from that meal! I will be making a trip next year with my son & his family & it is #1 on my list of dining reservations! Do not hesitate to eat here, especially if you are on the dining plan! Even if the menu doesn't seem appealing, trust me, it is good food! But the BEST character meal at Disney!

Pros:

Beautiful restaurant, great character interaction, & loved that we were not rushed & had lots of time with the characters!

Cons:

Terrible appetizers! I am hoping these will change before my next trip but that is my only complaint about this whole experience!

Review of Disney Transportation Boat, Monorail, Bus, & Skyliner

My family of 4 used Disney Buses every day of our 7 day trip early October. The times guide on the MDE app were spot on with accuracy, from our resort to the parks. We could stay in our room until about 7 minutes before the posted arrival time, go out to the bus & get right on. Very convenient! The longest we had to wait for a bus at a theme park, to return to our resort, was 15 minutes & that was only because there was a wreck & it took the bus a little longer to reach Magic Kingdom. We got to ride on 1 of the new Mickey buses & they are awesome! Love these new buses & hopefully we will get to ride more of the new ones on our trip next year. A lot of people don't like to ride the buses, but for us, they are fabulous!

Pros:

No parking fees & no driving after a long day in the parks!

Cons:

My only complaint is when you have to share a bus with other resorts, but this trip, that only happened once.

Monorails are the smoothest and quickest mode of transportation Disney offers. There always seems to be enough trains running and at good frequency. I never wait long, even at peak times. These trains can move alot of people fairly quickly. This is my personal favorite mode transportation.

Pros:

Quick and moves alot of people- plenty of trains running.

Cons:

Wish there were more resorts, a value at least, closer to the access points.
