I’ll start with the thing that was my favorite, since it’s the most memorable: the mini cupcake sampler. Lee and I shared this one evening. It … Continue reading "Disneyland Resort Food Bites"

Dinner at Steakhouse 55
Posted onHaving wound up this year needing to make last-minute reservations for Mother’s Day, I settled on Steakhouse 55 for the very good reasons that a) They give an AP discount, and b) They still had reservations Sunday afternoon. River Belle Terrace – Frontierland Disneyland
Posted onWhen River Belle Terrace reopened after a fairly lengthy refurbishment in December 2007, it opened with a new menu, featuring sandwiches and salads rather than fried chicken and ribs. Though Lee and I have eaten breakfast here several times since then (love those Mickey Mouse pancakes!), we hadn’t tried the regular menu until recently. The … Continue reading "River Belle Terrace – Frontierland Disneyland"

Though not billed as a character meal, Woody … Continue reading "Disneyland: Upcoming Events"
WDW Food and Wine Festival Week – Day 2
Posted onDay 2 of our Food and Wine Festival trip. We got a late start this morning – still on west coast time. I’m actually trying to STAY on west coast time until after the Tower of Terror 13K race Saturday night – my body will be much happier (ok, so “happier” isn’t really the right … Continue reading "WDW Food and Wine Festival Week – Day 2"
Disneyland Dining: The French Market
Posted onThe French Market is a buffeteria-style eatery on the edge of New Orleans Square. Disney introduced a new menu over the summer, and we hadn’t been there to try it yet, so that’s where we went for dinner before attending the Mickey’s Trick or Treat party later that evening. In addition to the new menu, … Continue reading "Disneyland Dining: The French Market"
