REVIEW: The Simple Disney World Drink and Snack Combo That Might Just Make Your Day Better

We’ve all been there…sweating and needing some kind of cool refreshment during a hot day in Disney World, especially when visiting the parks during the warmer months (which is most of the year).

So, where do you go in Disney’s Animal Kingdom when you just want a simple frozen beverage and snack? Well, we recently went to Drinkwallah just for that, and found the perfect frozen beverage and snack combo.

Drinkwallah is a non-assuming beverage and snack kiosk you’ll find in Animal Kingdom’s Asia. It’s where you want to go when you’re looking for a cold beverage.

The menu is small and is focused mostly on cold beverages, with a few snacks thrown in for good measure, including cinnamon-glazed nuts. You can also grab a few beers here, as well as a frozen boozy Coke.

Perhaps the best part about this spot, though, is that you can grab some shaded seating at a nearby table to enjoy your food and beverages.

So we visited Drinkwallah on a hot day and decided to order a Frozen Coca-Cola for $6.29, which just seemed like something that would hit the spot. You just can’t go wrong with this drink when you need a refreshing pick-me-up in the middle of the day. It’s got that classic Coca-Cola flavor, but we think the flavor comes through even better when it’s frozen. Just be careful and don’t drink it too fast, or you’ll end up with brain freeze. It will also melt quickly on a hot day, but then it’s still a refreshing cold Coke. Pro tip: bring your own straws because it’s served with a paper straw, and those can be frustrating to use.

We also decided to have a snack, so we ordered the Cinnamon-Glazed Pecans for $5.99. You get a bag of sweet, crunchy, and nutty pecans with beautiful sweet and cinnamon flavors. If you’re craving something crunchy that isn’t super sweet, this is your treat.

They do tend to cool off quickly, but you can still stash some in your bag to save for later. It’s a great way to satisfy a sweet tooth without having to order something over-the-top sweet.
