Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Garden Grill at EPCOT for breakfast and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
Located in The Land pavilion in EPCOT, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast at Garden Grill Restaurant is hosted by the friendliest chipmunks around… and they’re joined by none other than Mickey Mouse and Pluto! These four characters provide ample entertainment at this family-style restaurant.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
This restaurant has had many different styles, but has always been Disney World’s only rotating restaurant! Throughout your meal, you’ll see several of the different scenes from the Living with the Land ride below. There are several different booths located throughout the space, providing a great view of the Land Pavilion and Living with the Land.

The food is served tableside in skillets here, and it’s an all-you-can-eat feast with your family for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stopped by for breakfast this time around!

But enough about that, who are we meeting?!
Characters
Since this is a character meal, you can expect to see a few, well, characters during your visit here. We spotted Mickey and Pluto…

…plus Chip…

…and Dale, too!

So, what’s on the menu?
Food & Drinks
Before we kicked off our meal, we ordered the Legacy Mimosa for $20.50. This is made with Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Tennessee Whiskey, Grand Marnier Liqueur, Chateau Ste. Michelle Sparkling Wine, and Minute Maid Orange Juice.

This was a really well-balanced mimosa with a kick of booze. The whiskey and Grand Marnier come together to add depth and more orange flavor, but you can also still taste the sparkling wine. It’s basically a regular mimosa just with an extra kick.
Next, it was time for Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast, which starts with a breakfast pastry and fresh fruit — in our case, it was watermelon and cinnamon bread!

The watermelon was perfectly juicy and very, very fresh. It tasted like it was cut right before we had it, and was so refreshing — especially in the summer. It was a great way to start our meal!

The cinnamon bread doesn’t look very gooey on the outside, but the inside hides layers of cinnamon swirls and gooey goodness that any cinnamon lover would absolutely go nuts over. It reminded us of monkey bread, and we loved tearing it apart. It was perfectly moist, not dry at all, and full of buttery, sweet cinnamon flavor!

Next up was the main course, which included Mickey Waffles, Backyard Grilled Steak, Smoked Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, and Skillet Potatoes.

The Mickey Waffles were your classic Mickey Waffles. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and had that delicious buttery vanilla flavor. The addition of butter and maple syrup only enhances them, but honestly, these are great even without the toppings!

Next up, the bacon was perfectly crunchy and cooked, and goes perfectly well with the scrambled eggs as well for your classic breakfast combos. It wasn’t overdone or underdone, but had a great balance of crunch and chewy, fatty bits. We were thrilled that it wasn’t too crunchy like Disney bacon can sometimes be! If you like your bacon crispy, though, this is something to keep in mind.

The skillet potatoes are perfectly cooked in a hash brown style with lots and lots of creaminess baked in. They are perfectly seasoned. Our reporter liked mixing them with scrambled eggs to kind of bring the scrambled eggs to life, since the eggs by themselves were pretty plain.
They tasted fine, but weren’t overly flavorful and could have used more seasoning, even if just salt and pepper.

We also tried the Backyard Grilled Steak, and the steak was the star of the show. It was so tender and was perfectly cooked to a medium rare; therefore, if you’re not a fan of medium rare, this may not be the steak that you’re looking for. However, every bite was incredibly well seasoned and absolutely delicious. It went so well with the scrambled eggs and the creamy potatoes that came with the meal.

Well, should you add Garden Grill to your list for your next visit?
Magic or Tragic?

You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You want a quick meal that won’t break the bank.
While Garden Grill isn’t the most expensive prix fixe meal at Disney World, it doesn’t come cheap. You’ll also be greeted by multiple characters throughout your meal, which can add some time to your reservation. If you’re looking for something quick in a similar atmosphere, try Sunshine Seasons! - You’re not a fan of character meals.
While we do enjoy the food here — it’s classic American fare that leans Southern — the main draws are the characters and the rotating restaurant. If you’re not after those vibes, consider finding somewhere else to eat. If you’re after some REALLY good and unique eats, check out Spice Road Table or Le Cellier. - You’re looking for more unique eats.
The menu here is probably similar to something you can find in your neighborhood, and with so many unique restaurants at EPCOT and Disney World, you might want to opt for something a little different from what you’re used to.
