NEWS: A Popular Disney World Hotel Restaurant Is Now CLOSED for Refurbishment

If you’re planning an upcoming trip to Disney World, you need to know about the CLOSURES that are impacting the parks and beyond right now.

Crew’s Cup Lounge

From Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom to Hollywood Studios, several closures have hit the parks so that Disney can make way for new experiences. But, it’s not just the parks that are experiencing closures, either. As of February 23rd, a popular Disney World hotel restaurant is closed for a lengthy refurbishment, too.

Heads up! Crew’s Cup Lounge at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is now closed for a lengthy refurbishment. While we don’t have an official reopening date yet, we do know that this closure will last until sometime in May 2026, per the Disney World website.

Crew’s Cup Lounge

The restaurant has a cozy seafaring atmosphere to it, thanks to its wooden details, and is usually open from about 4 PM to 11 PM each day. Many guests prefer to visit if they’re looking for a great lounge, or they weren’t able to snag a reservation at the nearby Yachtsman Steakhouse.

If you ask us, that’s a long time to go without the Yachtsman Signature Bread and Prime Rib Sliders, among the many other dishes we love, but we’ll be happy to see it again when it reopens.

Not only that, but after Crew’s Cup Lounge reopens, Yachtsman Steakhouse will close for refurbishment and is expected to reopen in August.

The good news is that there are PLENTY of other lounges you can visit during the Crew’s Cup closure. Some of our favorites are:

We’ll be on the lookout for additional updates about Crew’s Cup Lounge, including when it might officially reopen. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and beyond.
