A long-closed Disney restaurant is finally reopening!

After closing for a lengthy refurbishment in spring 2025, Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort will officially reopen on February 6th. We got the chance to see this revamped restaurant before it opens, and we’re bringing you along for a full look at the changes!
The reimagined Napa Rose restaurant reopens to the public TODAY, February 6th, 2026, but we got the chance to check out the changes a bit early.

Located in the Grand Californian hotel, Napa Rose offers a bit of exclusivity away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks while featuring savory California-inspired cuisine from Chef Andrew Sutton and exquisite wines selected by sommelier Patrick Kirchen.

The refurbished dining room features an elevated dining experience that blends timeless Craftsman design with a fresh take on modern Californian sophistication. Disney wanted to ensure that Craftsman architecture was honored, along with “modern Californian luxury and approachability.”

Disney has also expanded the Chef’s Counter to up to 18 guests. You’ll be able to sit and dine in direct view of the dynamic exhibition kitchen, where the Napa Rose chefs personalize each course of your meal, based on seasonality and creativity.

For a private, more intimate, and curated experience, guests can also choose to celebrate a special occasion in the newly renovated private dining room, available for up to 16 people.

The patio refurbishment features additional seating and two more fireplaces for al fresco dining, even when it’s a bit chilly outside. There is lush greenery everywhere you look that reminds you of the beauty of California’s natural elements.

We absolutely love the new, updated feel of this restaurant and lounge, but we do want to warn you that the lighting in here is kept quite low, so if you’re someone who has issues with eyesight, you might need to bring a penlight with you!

We’ll be bringing you our full reviews of Napa Rose’s new dining room, bar, and lounge area, so make sure you keep an eye out for those! In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for the latest Disney news and beyond, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!
