REVIEW: We Found Disney Ice Cream That’s Better Than a Mickey Bar

We’ve tried Disney snacks all across the world now, and somehow they keep getting better and better.

While in Disneyland Paris, we tried an ice cream dedicated to The Lion King, and we need to tell you all about it.

Meet the Glace Magnum Le Roi Lion at Ice Cream Creations in the World Premier Plaza at Walt Disney Studios Park, which is soon turning into Disney Adventure World. This Ice Cream Bar cost 6 euros, which comes out to about $7 USD.

Let’s start with the presentation! This thing is so cute, and we love the Simba chocolate piece on top. We loved the intricate details, and one of the best parts was seeing it being made fresh right in front of us. It’s made with vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate coating, chopped almonds, broken corn flakes, and hazelnuts with a bronzed effect.

The chocolate had an amazing texture, and the vanilla was creamy on the inside. The chocolate was subtly rich but not too overwhelming. It was a bit messy to eat, the same way Mickey Premium Bars are. (You know what we mean…when the chocolate cracks and starts separating from the ice cream — and you CANNOT let any of that chocolate fall to the ground…)

While it didn’t have the most creative flavors we’ve ever tasted, if you’re a fan of classic ice cream and want a prettier presentation to make it feel more special, this can be the treat for you. It’s like a fancy take on a Mickey Premium Bar!
