REVIEW: This Secret Menu Item Will Change Your Disney World Trip for the Better!

We have a Disney World hack that is a coffee game-changer! Did you know that you can turn your Nitro Cold Brew into a Nitro Cold Brew FLOAT at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs? Well, you can, and it might change the way you look at coffee forever.

You can find Gideon’s Bakehouse over at Disney Springs. It is located near Wine Bar George and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. Look for the long line out front if you are having a hard time finding it. Gideon’s Bakehouse is known for its massive cookies and cake slices. But you can also grab some delicious cold brew, and we have a hint to take it up a notch!

You might have heard of Hot Cookie House at Gideon’s Bakehouse, where you can enjoy their Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie straight from the oven with a scoop of homemade ice cream on top (or you can just get the warm cookie without the ice cream). Hot Cookie Hour happens each day from 2 PM until 3 PM and from 7 PM until 8 PM. However, we have a Gideon’s Bakehouse hack that is available all day long to share with you.

You can stop by and grab a Nitro Cold Brew Float! If you ask nicely, the workers will add a scoop of Malted Vanilla Ice Cream to your Nitro Cold Brew. The ice cream, made by another local business, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, is an awesome addition to your cold brew. While it is a bit pricey at $13, what’s not to love about coffee and vanilla ice cream?

Of course, we had to stop by and try it out! It sounds amazing, but does it taste as good as it sounds? You get a big scoop of ice cream in your cold brew, which lends a great creaminess to the drink. We think Gideon’s Cold Brew is not as sweet as other cold brews, like those at Joffrey’s, and has a stronger coffee flavor. We think this lends itself well to the ice cream, as the ice cream adds a bit of sweetness and vanilla flavor to the cold brew.

The coffee had notes of caramel in it that worked well with the creamy vanilla of the ice cream. This drink only comes in one size — a large, so we might recommend sharing this with someone else as it tastes best before it melts and get a bit warmer. While we feel like the $13 price tag is a bit much, we did really enjoy this treat, and we would grab it again. This is perfect for coffee lovers who are wanting a sweet treat.
