We Met Six Characters in 20 Minutes at Disney World and This Is How

If you’re someone who fills up autograph books after autograph books and needs to meet as many characters as you can during your trips to Disney World, you’re going to love this rare experience we got to see at Hollywood Studios.

You might have seen a Character Palooza, which is where characters in training will come out and interact with guests in large groups. It’s one of our favorite ways to get multiple characters in a short amount of time, but we got to see a special Character Palooza, and y’all, it was magical.

On Sunday, September 14th, we were in Hollywood Studios and passed by the gate near the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, which is where Fantasmic is shown. Sometimes we see Character Paloozas near the Hollywood Studios entrance or in front of World Showplace in EPCOT.

The characters we saw are in Fantasmic, which isn’t very common. We saw Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen…

…Stitch…

…and Moana.

We also got to interact with Mary Poppins, who isn’t too common to see anymore. Sometimes she can also be seen on the riverboat at the end of Fantasmic, but she had her umbrella out, and we were feeling the magic.

Of course, we also saw our best bud, Donald Duck! He was happy to tell us he was number one.

That’s six characters in about 20 minutes! These interactions are usually quicker than a normal one, but we love that we can get our books signed and take photos with our favorites. At other Character Paloozas, we’ve seen Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh, King Louie from The Jungle Book, and Jack Skellington and Sally preparing for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

These parties are at random, so there isn’t a way to plan for them, but our best luck has been wandering around EPCOT’s World Showcase enough. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled while you’re enjoying a snack, and if you see a crowd of people heading towards a certain area, you might want to check it out for yourself.
