If you are hoping to “reach out and find your happily ever after” on your next trip to Disney World, we have an important update! Magic Kingdom’s nightly firework show, Happily Ever After, is about to change its showtimes.

We definitely don’t want you to miss the show! So, keep reading to find out when the Happily Ever After showtimes are changing.
Currently, you can watch Happily Ever After at 10 PM; however, changes are coming soon! Beginning Sunday, August 31st, the fireworks will start at 9:30 PM. Then, on Monday, September 15th, the showtime will be even earlier at 9 PM. Also, keep in mind that Happily Ever After does not happen on nights that Magic Kingdom is hosting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so double-check the calendar before you make your plans.

As always, be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information, as showtimes are subject to change. However, we want you to be aware of this change so you can plan your trip accordingly!

Happily Ever After is an 18-minute fireworks show that features lasers, lights, projections, and of course, fireworks. You will see scenes from classic Disney films like The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, as well as modern films like Moana and Zootopia. All set to an amazing soundtrack with beloved Disney songs.

Don’t forget you can also catch Disney World’s NEW nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, in Magic Kingdom! Disney Starlight is full of bright, colorful floats carrying some of the most beloved Disney characters. It is a gorgeous show, and we are SO happy that a nighttime parade has returned to Magic Kingdom. Currently, you can catch the parade at 9 PM and 11 PM, but the schedule hasn’t been released past August 2nd yet, so we aren’t sure how the change in fireworks time will affect Disney Starlight.

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
