Why Every Disney Adult Is Marking July 16th on Their Calendars

Disney adults, July 16th is an important day — do you know why?

Christmas time is here! OK…not actually. But, we are getting ready for Christmas at Disney World, because Disney just confirmed the FULL LIST of dates for both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. We also know when tickets are going on sale, and we have all the details for you.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the ultimate exclusive holiday event. It takes place at the Magic Kingdom and is filled with so many festivities. The party will run on select dates starting November 7th through December 21st.

This after-hours event truly is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Disney just released a look at everything coming back for the 2025 Christmas party, and we’re beyond excited. We’re talking special character meet-and-greets, an exclusive parade, festive nighttime shows, tasty treats, holiday drinks, and MORE!

If you don’t want to miss out on all the Christmas fun, get your calendars out NOW. Tickets for the Christmas party will officially go on sale on July 16th. However, note that the tickets will ONLY be available for Disney World hotel guests and select others. If that doesn’t apply to you, don’t worry, keep your calendars out. On July 22nd, EVERYONE will be able to buy Christmas party tickets!

More specifically, the following people can buy tickets on July 16th: 

• Those staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels
• Those staying at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels
• Those staying at Shades of Green

For all others, tickets will be available starting July 22nd.

Jollywood Nights

The holly jolly holiday fun isn’t stopping there — there’s another seasonal party that takes place at Disney World! Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Jollywood Nights. The party will be running on select dates starting November 8th through December 22nd. The fun begins at 7:30 PM and runs through 12:30 AM. However, those with a ticket can enter Hollywood Studios as early as 5:30 PM.

This after-hours event is full of holiday festivities, and you can ride some popular Disney’s Hollywood Studios rides with MUCH shorter waits. Disney just released details on pricing and everything coming back for the exclusive Christmas event, and we can’t wait. There’s going to be beautiful holiday decor, exclusive photo-ops and rare character interactions, special entertainment, music and dancing, tasty treats, and MORE!

Just like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the following groups of people can purchase dates on July 16th: 

• Those staying at select Disney Resort hotels
• Those staying at  Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels
• Those staying at Shades of Green

On July 22nd, the general sale opens, and all others can purchase Jollywood Nights tickets. 

Only Disney could make us feel the holiday spirit in July! Make sure to mark those calendars so you don’t miss out on the tickets. Popular dates (like the first official party night) may sell out quickly.
