NEWS: Popular Cruise Line CANCELS Over Four Months of Sailings in 2026 and 2027

We’ve got bad news if you were planning on setting sail with Norwegian Cruise Line in 2026 or 2027…

Norwegian Cruise Line has canceled more than four months of cruises on two ships. Here’s what you need to know.

Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Breakaway will trade places as part of “a fleet redeployment” in 2026, according to USA Today. Prima will sail Breakaway’s planned Southern Caribbean cruises from Puerto Rico, while Breakaway will sail Prima’s previously scheduled Western Caribbean itineraries from New Orleans.

The following sailings were impacted:

• Norwegian Prima: Cruises between Nov. 15, 2026, through and including March 28, 2027
• Norwegian Breakaway: Cruises between Nov. 8, 2026, through and including March 28, 2027

The original itineraries will still be available on the new ships and will open for bookings on August 8th, 2025.

Guests booked on the previous sailings will get a full refund of their paid fare and 10% future cruise credits.
