Be safe out there if you’re visiting Disney World today — it’s a SCORCHER!

Although we’ve shared tons of tips and tricks (and park must-haves) to help you beat the heat during your Disney World vacation, sometimes it’s just not enough. We’ve seen some weird weather patterns already moving into summer, but the forecasted temperature on May 20th, 2025, could be a new record-breaker!
For most of us, visiting Disney World when it’s sunny and dry feels like a dream. And that’s even more welcome when the air is a bit cooler (especially after the sun goes down). But, depending on the season you’ve chosen to spend your next Disney World vacation in, sometimes avoiding the sun and its heat can feel next to impossible!

We track weather patterns all over Orlando and Central Florida to help you stay informed about how best to spend your days in the theme parks and your hotel, but today’s forecasted temperatures are also coming with a warning. Right now, local news WESH2, has forecasted Orlando to be the hottest temperatures of Central Florida with an anticipated high of 97! If the temperature does rise beyond 96, this will be the highest recorded temperature for the area since 1935.
Nearly every record of ours is in jeopardy today.

However, they’re not ruling out the chance of a few showers that could help cool things off this evening. Isolated showers and a storm or two will be possible toward sunset, expected mainly near the East of I-4 and West of I-95, South of Cape Canaveral.

If you’re going to be tackling a day of fun in Disney World’s theme parks today, we strongly urge you to take extra precautions to make sure your health and safety are regularly checked and of the utmost priority.
Remember to wear your sun protective gear like UV umbrellas, sunscreen applied regularly and vigorously, cooling towels, and take frequent breaks indoors for shows and shopping. Complimentary water cups are also made available at quick service restaurants, as well as water fountains found throughout the park to refill reusable water bottles you might be carrying around with you.

Should you have forgotten to pack something for your day and find yourself in need, each park also has First Aid and Baby Care Centers that are equipped with all kinds of medicines, aides, and more that you might discover you need during your day. It’s never a wrong time to stop and take a break when you need to and reevaluate the rest of your plans for the day, depending on how you’re feeling.
We’re always looking for the best ways to help you prepare for your next Disney World vacation! Be sure you stay tuned with us right here at AllEars for all the latest news, updates, and more.
