Sorry To Everyone Else, But the Orlando Airport Just Won April Fool’s Day!

It’s April 1st, 2025, and the jokes are coming in!

A few brands and companies are getting in on the fun, but the Orlando International Airport might have our favorite joke so far! See the hilarious park phone call right here.

It’s April Fool’s Day, and we are giggling at MCO’s latest prank! All through the city of Orlando, the airport put up 12 billboards with a phone number for fans to call.

Hello, this is…

The phone number, which we of course had to call, takes you to Mayor Buddy Dyer’s famous spiel that you can hear as you arrive at MCO on the tram. It’s become something of a fan favorite moment that signals to many people the beginning of their Disney trip.

In the message, Mayor Dyer welcomes people to the “City Beautiful,” while telling locals, “welcome home,” and telling vacationers about the city’s many tourist destinations. We have a weird obsession with this monologue, and we’re glad that it seems like MCO totally understands us.
