Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins Now Available To Rent on Airbnb

We know Disney made a controversial move when it got rid of its old Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground cabins in Disney World and replaced them with new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) cabins.

However, the old cabins are not completely gone. We’ve seen the old cabins go up for sale, and well, it looks like someone bought one of those cabins and converted it into an Airbnb property near Disney World. Well, you can book that cabin NOW.

The Airbnb listing is listed as “Hidden Disney Cabin- Close to parks!” and features an old Fort Wilderness cabin. So if you’ve missed the old cabins, this could be your chance to revisit them. Each cabin can hold up to six guests with four bedrooms and one bathroom.

The listing asks you to “escape to our peaceful, gated retreat just 20 minutes from the theme parks.” Three vintage Disney cabins are available. There’s also an outdoor pavilion with yard games, picnic tables, a fire pit, and more. It almost sounds like a stay at the previous version of the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness.

You’ll also find Disney’s ORIGINAL furnishings inside the cabins, so this is as close as you can get to revisiting Fort Wilderness’ previous digs.

Amenities include access to a washer and dryer, wifi, kitchen appliances, a private patio, free resort access, free parking, and more.

A stay in early June 2025, will run you around $171 per night for five nights, if you’re interested. An additional $100 cleaning fee plus an Airbnb service fee will also be applied to the total.
