REVIEW: A Popular Disney World Snack Is BACK at EPCOT!

REJOICE! A fan-favorite snack has returned to EPCOT!

Famous for its huge selection of international food among other things like great attractions and shows, EPCOT is a Disney World MUST. In fact, it’s about to get even better with the return of a beloved snack!

We recently visited EPCOT and noticed the return of the Loaded Burnt End Fries at Regal Eagle Smokehouse!

These fries have been missing from the menu for a few months now, and it looks like their return might only be temporary. We spoke to a Disney World Cast Member who said the Loaded Burnt End Fries will be a limited-time offering subject to availability.

We also noticed that the snack is NOT available via Mobile Order, so you’ll have to check on their availability at the restaurant’s register.

With that said, you know we couldn’t just look at these fries — we picked up a plate and checked to see if the snack was as good as we remembered!

We’re glad they’re back, if only temporarily

Loaded Burnt End Fries cost $12.99 and come with seasoned French fries with burnt ends, macaroni & cheese, and beer-battered onion rings.

This fry plate honestly looks even more visually appealing than it did before and the portion size is plentiful. As for the taste, we’re BIG fans of the creaminess of the mac & cheese and the freshness of the green onions.

The fries did not lack in seasoning and we think it’s something akin to paprika. There is a ton of flavor in this dish, and we think it benefits from all these textures and flavors coming together.

The burnt ends have actually improved this go-around. The meat was tender and chewy while also featuring a rich and delicious barbeque flavor. Some bits were too crunchy while others were too fatty, and our onion rings were a tad too greasy. However, we still think this snack is VERY tasty and worth trying.

These loaded fries are filling, so if you’re looking for something light, this isn’t it. With that said, the flavor profile here is excellent and we’re so happy they’re back, if only for a limited time.
