We love the Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom, but we can’t lie; we wish Magic Kingdom also had a nighttime parade again, and now that wish is finally coming true!
The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, D23, is currently taking place in California. It was announced during the D23 Disney Parks Panel that Magic Kingdom will be getting a new nighttime parade, and here is everything we know so far!
It has been a long time since Magic Kingdom has had their own nighttime parade. Previously SpectroMagic and the Main Street Electrical Parade have lit up the night at the Magic Kingdom and now something new is coming!

This new nighttime parade will be called “Disney Starlight” and will be dazzling Magic Kingdom nightly starting Summer 2025!
This new nighttime parade will use state-of-the-art technology to tell brand-new stories inspired by the movies we know and love, including “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen,” and more. And it is all brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy.
In addition to the new nighttime parade for Magic Kingdom, Disney Parks from around the world will also be getting brand-new spectaculars of their own, including “Reach For The Stars“ on September 20 at Tokyo Disneyland which will include many beloved characters, including Marvel Super Heroes making their debut at the park.
And coming in January 2025, a new nighttime spectacular will also premiere at Disneyland Paris, featuring classic songs from Disney and Pixar. This brand-new story will be told through projections over Sleeping Beauty Castle and, for the first time ever, along Main Street!
