UPDATE: Scaffolding Is Already Starting To Come DOWN at Universal's NEW Epic Universe Park

Disney World has a lot going on, yes, but Universal Orlando is currently building a whole NEW park.

Located not far from the existing two parks, Epic Universe is expected to open to guests in 2025, with multiple new lands inspired by existing IP, and featuring lots of new attractions. We’re keeping a close eye on development to bring you everything you need to know, so let’s take another look!

The Twitter/X account @biorecontruct recently shared a TON of construction updates online. For example, over in the (unconfirmed, but strongly hinted at) How To Train Your Dragon land, a steel frame is being built in front of what appears to be a theater.

The statues located at the front of the land are looking really great too! Movie fans will easily recognize them from the beginning of the films.

And, per @biorecontruct, a portal into the land — like an actual portal — is being constructed.

Near the portal, you can see what looks like a copy of the Porte Saint-Denis. Universal Team Members have started a mural/painting to the right of the structure, and we can’t wait to see what it’ll be.

Scaffolding was also recently removed in the (speculated) Harry Potter land, and it is looking fantastic! The current theory is that these are to emulate streets in Paris, and if that’s the case, we think they’re nailing it.

But that’s not all the construction that Universal is currently working on! They’re also working on a new DreamWorks Land in Universal Studios, and Shrek’s swamp is really starting to come together.
