The holiday season is fast approaching, and it’s time to make your plans!

If you’re heading to Orlando, you could check out some fun events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, or the happenings at Universal Orlando. But did you know that there’s an absolutely spectacular holiday display OUTSIDE of the theme parks?!
Give Kids the World Village is a resort in Orlando that specializes in gifting cost-free weeklong vacations to critically ill children and their families. They have a property in Orlando where the families can stay in whimsical villas and explore the area while getting to experience the real joys of being a kid on vacation.

During the holiday season, GKTW takes things up a notch by decorating the Village with more than one MILLION Christmas lights! The effect is simply amazing, and we were invited to check it out, including a preview of a new holiday event they’re hosting.

This year, you can see the holiday lights display by booking a VIP Guided Tour at the Give Kids the World Village. These tours are approximately 90 minutes long and include a tour of the Village with storytelling, access to select venues on the Avenue of Angels, photo ops, and more. Tickets can be purchased on their website now.

To add to the VIP Tours, those who want a little something extra can book a Balcony Dessert Party. With this offering, up to 30 people can enjoy a dessert party with sweet treats, in addition to a private VIP tour.

The third offering GKTW is hosting this year is the Holiday Soiree. This event takes place on November 11th and includes dinner, live entertainment, auctions, music, dancing, character visits, and more. There are a variety of ticket options available depending on the size of your party.

During our visit, we got to experience a portion of the holiday tour, and it was incredible to learn more about this Village and all that they do for so many wonderful families. The lights are stunning and this would be a great way to spend a free evening in Orlando — plus, it benefits a great cause!

We definitely encourage you to check out Give Kids the World Village this holiday season through one of these events. And stay tuned to AllEars for more holiday offerings!
